Imre Bence és Szita Zoltán is visszakerült a címvédő és házigazda franciák elleni, vasárnapi sorsdöntő csoportmérkőzésre készülő magyar férfi kézilabda-válogatott keretébe a párizsi olimpián.
A nemzetközi szövetség honlapja szerint a jobbszélső Imre az irányító Hanusz Egont, míg a balátlövő Szita a beálló Rosta Miklóst váltja.
Később kapust is cseréltek a magyarok: Bartucz Lászlót Palasics Kristóf váltotta.
A magyarok Európa-bajnok franciák elleni mérkőzése 16 órakor kezdődik, Chema Rodríguez szövetségi kapitány együttese kizárólag akkor jut a legjobb nyolc közé, ha bravúrral felülmúlja az esélyesebb riválist.
